I've been drawing since I was a kid, and have collected lots of trophies as well as awards from various competitions and events. But honestly speaking, I have never ever managed to draw a 'close-to-realistic' car drawing. I rarely draw cars for its difficulties in proportions, a good balance of lights, midtones, and darks along with clean, sharp edges...until now! lol. Below is the Audi A6 (wanna be) sketch created indiscriminately for my little pumpkin. She really likes all types of Audi cars and when we stumbled across one of the cars, she acts like a nutty ;)

Lazy Friday
yippee....Friday! I really love this last day of a five-day working week. Why? - Good question! First things first, when this day comes, it means I'll be having weekend afterwards. Secondly, at my office —and probably at some other offices as well, employees are allowed to wear less formal attire on Fridays, known as Casual Friday or Dress-Down Friday. The next thing is, after struggling for three and a half hours at my office[1] last night, I managed to conquer another dead-lion[2]. Now I'm waiting for the other projects to come. Last but not least —and I consider it as the 'special' one, tho...this morning I received a BBM[3] message from the one I care about, following a bad communication we had yesterday for my stupidity. Thanks for making my day! :)
Well, the point is that I heart this day...No matter how heavy is the workload, when carried out during this day, it feels light. I'm not joking, it is true!
References
1. 'Office' here means 7eleven convenience store. We (me and my partner in crime) often go to the place to work on our translation projects together. We sometimes call it as the HQ (Head Quarter) or virtual office.
2. Dead-lion; a pun of deadline (n.) 1. A time limit, as for payment of a debt or completion of an assignment. 2. A boundary line in a prison that prisoners can cross only at the risk of being shot.
3. BBM; An instant messaging application that is exclusive to smartphones produced by Research In Motion, namely BlackBerry devices. BBM comes with several features, such as a personalized BBM display picture and real-time message confirmations. In addition to BBM, most BlackBerry devices are equipped with a variety of messaging features, including push email.

Hump Day Wednesday
Wednesday, the middle day of the week, is a calque of the Latin dies Mercurii "day of Mercury", reflecting the fact that the Germanic god Woden (Wodanaz or Odin) during the Roman era was interpreted as "Germanic Mercury”. The day is also renowned as the ‘hump day’, meaning that one has made it "over the hump" towards the weekend. Anyway, I’d rather call it as Bustling Wednesday!

Sleepy Monday
Monday has always been my least expected day of the whole week. Well anyway, it's not because I hate Mondays; I just wish they came at a different point in the week. ;)

Saving Other Birds in Rio
I heart this adorable yet powerful black bird. |
Who doesn't know this phenomenal game, which was initially launched for iPhone users? Carrying a simple yet beautiful game graphics and adorable various elements attached, Angry Birds has successfully captivated tens of millions of smartphone as well as PC users around the world.
Rovio, as the game developer, must be acknowledged to have a topnotch marketing strategy (*I should admit it :p). By continuously releasing the game on any particular events, the "maker" of the red bird will certainly not be drowning in red ink within the short time. And now, it comes back with a new episode: Angry Birds Rio.
The story begins when the three birds are suddenly kidnapped and taken away by a chopper. When realized, they find themselves located in a far place, Rio de Jeneiro, Brazil, South America. After smashing the iron cage, they discover there lots of other birds trapped and suffered in the place. The three birds then decide to carry out a rescue mission as well as finding a way out from Rio. Will they make it? Let the adventure begins!

Undefined
I don't know what to call this drawing...The final result is totally different with the sketch. I initially wanted to draw a boy trying to switch the radio channel in an easy way. Instead, it took much effort for him to even reach the wooden table. Hhhhh...

Alice - Resident Evil: Extinction
Who doesn't know Alice? She is a fictional character and the primary heroine of the Resident Evil: Extinction. Though she is not a playable character in the game series, she does eventually interact with a number of characters from the games, including Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, Claire Redfield and Nemesis.
Alice, portrayed by Milla Jovovich, plays the principal role in each film, the story lines all somewhat revolving around her and the struggle with the Umbrella Corporation. In Resident Evil, she is displayed as suffering from amnesia. In Resident Evil: Apocalypse, her character is portrayed as tough and rugged, as she is more familiar with the situation surrounding her. She plays a similar role in Resident Evil: Extinction. Apart from the films, she appears in the film's novelizations where her background is explained; however, the novels and the films are not canon.

Sweet Smile
so cute... |
How can one smile such sweet smiles,
When one is so saddened by sorrows for miles,
How can I smile the same smiles,
When life brings me nothing but tears,

Yet Another Day
This drawing is taken from my old binder - I used to write (draw, to be exact ;p) when I was in high school. Wait a sec, if you notice at the right-bottom of the pic, you can read 'her' hand-writing asking for an answer of the stupid statement I wrote. Then I answered, "it was u!" (so lame...)
Hohohoooo...

Arjuna Wiwaha
Arjuna Wiwaha was such a peerless archer (except for Ekalavya) that he is often referred to as Jishnu - the undefeatable. The third of the five Pandava brothers, Arjuna was one of the children borne by Kunti, the first wife of Pandu.
Naruto and Hinata
To be honest, it is not the original one. I was asked by a friend to made her this drawing. She downloaded the original drawing from somewhere and gave it to me as a reference. The pose of the two characters is the same with the original one. Anyway, I don't know where she downloaded the drawing, so I just couldn't give a credit to the original one.
Sk8ter Boys
Just a quick sketch of my drawing. This drawing was made a long time ago when I was really in to skateboard ;)

Lex - Knights of Apocalypse
this is the scene where he tries to remember who he is |
This is the main character of an original Indonesian comic book, Knights of Apocalypse. I've finished reading all the three sequel of this comic and it's awesome.
