My 25th Birthday Gift
Pheeww...Long time no post. Time flies so fast that we have reached the end of the first month of this new year. Anyway, before I continue my post, I wanna say HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I know it's very late ;)
Okay, as some of you may have noticed that this January I turned to 25. Yes, I am no longer young and I would like to take this opportunity to say my birthday prayer.
Thank you, God, for giving me another year of life.
Thank you for all the people who remembered me today
by sending cards, and letters, gifts and good wishes.
Thank you for all the experience of this past year;
for times of success which will always be happy memories,
for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need for you,
for times of joy when the sun was shining,
for times of sadness which drove me to you.
Forgive me
for the hours I wasted,
for the chances I failed to take,
for the opportunities I missed this past year.
Help me in the days ahead to make this the best year yet,
and through it to bring good credit to myself,
happiness and pride to my loved ones,
and joy to you. Amen.
She is the best gift God has given me this year.

Raped by Own Brother
I just got this from my friend at mailing list. This is a sad story of a 'girl' being raped by her own brother. The first time I opened it, I was shocked. The second time, hmmm...
Why so serious??? Hehehee...Happy Monday everyone!

The Right-Brain Expert
| Ippho Santosa at Yokohama, Japan |
I personally love this concept because it is easy. Perhaps this is because of my own self that also have properties and characteristics similar to the concept of the right brain. It’s just how I can develop it intelligently in my daily life. It’ll be my next mission. On his books, Ippho essentially argues the same things. In the first book, Ippho explains the right-brain method of introduction. Then on to the second edition of the book, Ippho explains how to put it into practice in our lives, while on the third book Ippho invites us to be more creative and develop it properly. In his books, Ippho also puts many jokes so readers will not necessarily get bored because most motivation books often patronizing.
I supposed I could review more of the 3 books from Ippho, however I deliberately shortened it so readers may be interested to read the motivation books from Ippho. One thing to describe Ippho books, ''FANTASTIC".

The First Day
Hey pumpkin, how are you? Hope you're doing good. Having great time with your besties ;)
Here I am, writing a blog post on the sidelines of slaying another dead lion at my second office. I'm not doing pretty good today, but I'm fine. This first day is a really hard day for me without having you around. I been thinking about you the whole day. I tried to handle it by sleeping, yet failed. You kept popping out in my dreams. I thought working on my translation project would put you out of my mind for just a moment. However, I ended up writing this blog entry about you. I just couldn't help it.
Oh ya, I forgot I still owe you a picture. The sketch of your face. Here it is... :)
![]() |
| I added texture at the background. Hope you don't mind ;) |
“when I tell you I love you, It doesn't mean I know you'll never go, Only that I wish you didn't have to.”
Gee, time flies by and I gotta slay the dead lion. I'm missing you so bad! :(

My 2000th Tweet
Hello bloggers...
Hohohoo, sorry for the lack of post on my blog over the last few weeks or so. Been quite busy with office work and stuff.
Anyway, I been tweeting for more than two years, but my 'tweetstone' ain't pretty good. Hehehee...Speaking of fact, twitter wasn't as famous as facebook back then. But now, we can get the most updated information like traffic info (this helps me alot) or events happening in town through this micro blog. Very cool, eh!
And now, I have touched my 2,000th tweet since June 2009, the very first time I met twitter. I also dedicate my 2,000th tweet to my little pumpkin. Love you ;) If you wanna see the original tweet, simply click here or you can follow my twitter @radenfelix.

Timun Mas - A Folktale from Central Java (My Ver.)
A long time ago, there was a farmer couple. They were living in a village near a forest. They lived happily, but their life would be much much happier if they had any children. They hadn’t had any children yet for more than 20 years of their marriage. Every day they prayed to the God for a child.
One day a giant passed their home. He heard what they were praying. The giant then gave them a cucumber seed.
“Plant this modified-cucumber-seed, when it is ripe, eat the golden cucumber and do a “WooHoo” at full moon night. Then you’ll get a daughter,” said the giant.
“Thank you, Giant,” replied the couple.
“But in one condition, in her 17th birthday, you must give her to me,” said the Giant.
The couple wanted a child so much that they agreed without thinking first. The next day, the farmer couple planted the cucumber seed on their backyard. Each day they took care of the growing plant so carefully. A few months later, a golden cucumber grew from the plant. The cucumber was getting heavier and bigger each day. When it was ripe, they picked it. Cautiously they ate the cucumber and how surprised they were when they found it worked. The wife was pregnant. After nine months, she delivered a beautiful baby. They were so happy. They named the baby Timun Mas (Eng: Golden Cucumber).
Years were passing by and Timun Mas had grown into a beautiful girl. Her parents were very happy. But their happiness turned to fear when her 17th birthday came. The giant returned to ask for their promise. He was going to take Timun Mas away. The farmer tried to be calm.

Am Currently Listening To
Work load are really pain in the ass...for sure! But these songs truly make my whole days...
Other playlist:
Anyway, unlike girls who always (or mostly) relate their recent mood, activities or feelings to certain songs, do not try to relate these songs to anything. I pick up these songs for their melodies and they just suit me perfectly.
So, what is yours? Btw, did you notice that 'Microscope' and 'Count on Me' have similar intro in the song? If not, you'd better listen more carefully... ;)

if you put my heart under a microscope
you probably gonna wonder
why it's in such a critical condition
and if it scares you of to look at my horoscope
i'm not gonna blame you
i'm not gonna wonder
i am holding on to someone
i can't hold no more
oh and sadly i've been here before
i can't let go no
i am reaching out for someone
i can't reach no more
oh it feels like my heart is nailed to the floor
oh yeah mmh mmh
i guess i've sacrifices everything for my dreams
and now it's completely out of control
things are not at all as they seem
but it is hard to navigate in a chaotic mind
it's easier to ask for forgiveness
and for permission
i am holding on to someone
i can't hold no more
oh and sadly i've been here before
i can't let go no

if you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea
i'll sail the world to find you
if you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see
i'll be the light to guide you
Find out what we're made of
What we are called to help our friends in need
You can count on me like one, two, three
i'll be there and i know when i need it
i can count on you like four, three, two
And you'll be there 'cause that's what friends
Are supposed to do, oh yeah, ooh, ooh
if you toss and you turn and you just can't fall asleep
i'll sing a song beside you
And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me
Everyday i will remind you
Find out what we're made of
What we are called to help our friends in need
You can count on me like one, two, three
i'll be there and i know when i need it

Today i don't feel like doing anything
i just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today i swear i'm not doing anything
i'm gonna kick my feet up then stare at the fan
Turn the TV on, throw my hand in my pants
Nobody's gon' tell me i can't
i'll be lounging on the couch just chilling in my Snuggie
Click to MTV so they can teach me how to dougie
'Cause in my castle i'm the freaking man
Oh yes, i said it, i said it
i said it 'cause i can
Today i don't feel like doing anything
i just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today i swear i'm not doing anything
Nothing at all, nothing at all
Tomorrow i'll wake up, do some P90X
Find a really nice girl, have some really nice sex
And she's gonna scream out
This is great
(Oh my god, this is great)
Yeah, i might mess around
And get my college degree
i bet my old man will be so proud of me
But sorry pops, you'll just have to wait
Oh yes, i said it, i said it
i said it 'cause i can
Today i don't feel like doing anything
i just wanna lay in my bed
Don't feel like picking up my phone, so leave a message at the tone
'Cause today i swear i'm not doing anything
No, i ain't gonna comb my hair
'Cause i ain't going anywhere
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
i'll just strut in my birthday suit
And let everything hang loose
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh, today i don't feel like doing anything

What a Life
Recently I'm so f*ckin' busy with many things...First and foremost: Gotta finish my Subaru Manual Book translation project (approx. 4,000 pages) together with Wandita by this week. So, I always end up doing the job at 7Eleven (*ababil mode: on).
Second, I'm also working on my colleague's pre-wed photos. We just took some great photographs at a very nice place (still waiting for approval to publish the photos here ;p)
Next is to edit and retouch photos taken at Desa Sawarna, Banten. I went to the place on my last long weekend with some photography friends. The place was just awesome...Will post the field report soon.
Last but not least, gotta retouch and edit photographs during my vacation on Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Still haven't had a chance to post here...lol
Okay, it's time to turn in...Gotta work this morning ;) Hoooooaaamm...See yaa!
NOTE:
All photos were taken with only phone camera, and re-touched in Photoscape.

New Feature on Blogger
Wow...When I was going to update my blog, I received a notification from blogger team stated they have implemented a new feature to blogger. This cool feature is called "Dynamic View(s)". Blogger currently offers five dynamic views for its public blogs. These views are only accessible if allowed for by the blog author. They are:
Anyway, these views require modern browsers such as Internet Explorer 8+, Firefox 3.5+, Chrome or Safari. Many elements of these views will not work should you have an older browser.
For you, bloggers, who want your blog to be viewed in several new and exciting ways, please make sure all of the following are true:
If all of the above conditions are true, your readers can access the dynamic views for your blog by simply appending /view to the URL.
Please note that these views do not currently support many of the features your original blog may have, including displaying advertisements. For this reason we have provided the option for you to disable dynamic views in your Settings page. We intend to add these missing capabilities over the coming months as well as let you personalize these views, including providing an option to set a particular view as the default.
Please take a look at the article on Dynamic Views for Readers or Dynamic Views for Authors to get more details.

The King

| Photograph by: Ditta (mbe) |
Story by: Putri Aisyah
Original Indonesian version is available here.
Translated by me.
Once upon a time in a jungle, there was a mother lion died after giving birth to her child. The fragile baby lion lived without the protection of its mother. Some time later a group of goats came across the place. The baby lion then wiggled its weak body, making the mother goat noticed. She felt pity seeing the weak baby lion would be living his life all alone. Therefore, the mother instinct of the mother goat to take care and protect the baby lion arose. The mother goat then approached the baby lion and stroked it with great warmth and affection. Felt the warmth of affection like that, the baby lion did not want to be apart with the mother goat. He continued to follow the mother goat wherever she went. The baby lion eventually became part of the goats big family. Day by day, the baby lion grew within the big goats community. He breastfed, ate, drank, and played with other young goats.
His behavior then became more and more like a goat. Even the young lion made a bleating sound as like a goat instead of roaring! He felt that he was a goat, just like the other goats. He never believed that he is a lion.
One day, there was a tremendous noise. A wild wolf came in for a hunt. All the goats were running around in panic. All fear. The mother goat who also in fear asked the lion to face the wolf.
"You're a lion, now go face the wolf! Roar hard and I believe the wolf will definitely run away!" Said the mother goat to the young lion who already looked big and sturdy. But since the lion had been living in the middle of the goat's community for long time, he went hide together with other goats instead of facing the wolf. He screamed bloody murder and that came out of his mouth is bleat sound.Just like the other goat was not roaring. The young lion could not do anything when one young goat was pounced and taken away by the wolf.
The mother goat was sad because one of her children was eaten by the wolf. She looked at the young lion with suppuration and angry feelings, "You should be defending us! You should save your brother! You should be able to drive out the evil wolf!"

Mi Promise (Extraordinary Things Happen to Extraordinary People)
![]() |
| This photo has been spiced up :) |
By: Putri Aisyah
A good friend of mine said this to me 4 days ago, "At the moment, I am stuck on the steep edge of the abyss of life. Seems excessive, but it happens to the right people and at the right time. So I can be more grateful since I am more fortunate than others."
My friend added that in order to adapt to something new, we have to be a fast runner not a fast walker (I love this part - red). Proverbial, such as Salah at five periods of the day. For the Muslims pray at five periods of the day is the time when we must give a report to Almighty Allah SWT. But our report will look like a uniform that makes us just like His people judged others. Then how can we be judged more by Allah SWT? We do our prayers and the Qur'an and sunna I'tikaf. That is where Allah SWT is able to see us more. Because we have a value, and we are able to undergo all because we do it sincerely.
Success is not determined by the final result, but rather to the process. Success or not, it’s all God secrets. Allah SWT task is to determine the outcome, no matter what all has been written in the sky. We, as His people, will not be able to remove or change what has been written in the sky.
"You fall, You learn
You cry, You learn
You scream, You learn
...and you breath."
You cry, You learn
You scream, You learn
...and you breath."
*Congrats on your new job! Hope you do enjoy...and nice hair cut,,like it! ;p

A Boy and the Tree of Knowledge
![]() |
| Cover made by: me |
Story by: Putri Aisyah
Original Indonesian version is available here.
Translated by me.
Once upon a time, there lived a very diligent boy named Mogu. Mogu was seven years old. His daily activities were farming and collecting firewoods from the forest. He lived all alone. In order to cure his sense of loneliness, he read books. Many books. There were no days without reading books for him. He longed so much for knowledge.
One day he was lost in the forest. It was already dark. Mogu finally decided to spend the night in the forest. He leaned against a tree and fell asleep. In his sleep, Mogu vaguely heard a voice calling him. The early he thought it was only a dream. However, when he woke up, the voice was still calling him.
"Young man, wake up!"
"Who are you? Why are you here?" Mogu was still confused where the voice came from. He tried to look around.
"I'm here. I'm the tree that you lean against!" the voice said again.
Momentarily Mogu turned his head around and was surprised! The tree appeared to have a face.
"Do not be afraid! I'm not a bad creature. I am Tule, the tree of knowledge. Now, introduce yourself, young man." said the tree gently.

Introducing My Blog Contributor
It is truly an honor for me to introduce this beautiful lady as my blog's contributor. She will frequently contribute to this blog in the form of her writings (will, you? *sambil gw tempelin pisau ke lehernya), for she really loves to write. Okay, no more further ado from me...here she is,,
Hi, ... ...
Let me Introduce myself, my name is Putri Aisyah.. but you can call me PARiS! I'm nu at this blog, so I just hope it's okay if I share something on your blog ....
For an introduction I just wanna share a story I have (*felix said: sorry, I haven't finished translating it ^__^). I luv fairy tales and Bedtime stories, since the story is more like ''innocent''. Full of goodness and beauty. Even though evil characters exist, but not as bad as in the real world or an over exaggeration soap operas on local TVs.
I also like saga, Indonesian-themed fables and folklores, for they teach lots of moral which are very good to build the reader's character, in this case, a child. They can be educated well and properly about manners and etiquette so that they are expected to be a good person.
Well, ... .. all these of my introduction! Enjoy it!
Well, yeaa....that's a glimpse of my new blog contributor. She already sent me her writing to be published here, but not translated yet. I am still working on it to make it done by Monday, probably? Hehehee...

Hehehee...

New Year's Resolutions
The very tough and full-of-temptation year of 2010 has gone. I've learned many things and have found plenty of new things. For a moment, I just couldn't believe it. The year has gone so fast. But, a new beginning is coming. It awaits me, right over there...New year means a new me. Then what's new?
- The most important thing - PRAY 5 TIMES A DAY!
- Ride my bike more - to get healthier.
- Eat better - to gain more weight.
- Save more money - for my future.
- Learn something new - means new challenges.
- Become more organized - hmm...I am.
- Manage time better - stay sharp.
- Be more independent - everybody needs privacy.
- Be more responsible - still struggling.
- Be more often to reply text message - well, it depends.
- Take a trip over Asia - which will be started on May.
- Volunteer to help others - be generous, eh?
- Find a better-half - I put it on the 12th?
- Get a better job - 2 years are more than just enough.
- Buy a fixie bike - a wish...
- Stop smoking

Google Page Rank 4
Howdy everyone,
It's been a donkey's year since I wrote my last post on this blog. With all the deadlines that I'm going up against, I've been extremely busy recently. However, I still get in to write a new post during my work time, hehehee...You all may have known why I wrote this post, for you can read it from the title, eh? Yep, it is because my google page rank boosted up to 4 (again). This blog was initially at rank 4 a couple of months ago. But, because I rarely posted new contents in it, the Google page rank went down to 2.
But I'm happy because the Google page rank is back. I will maintain it as long as I could. Thanks for those who visit my blog and leave comments. I really appreciate it.

Missing My Blog
Lately this blog has never been updated. But now, the business is over and I'll completely return to update my blog again. I do hope I could take some (or maybe many) lessons from what I have been through during the past two (or three) weeks, that can make me grow up and stronger than before. Just like an old saying,
And I think I have passed the life test that was just given to me, Amin. Even tough I know this is going to be difficult, I can convince myself I'm able to do it. Time to give someone else a chance...Thank's for being the highlight of my life.In school you were taught a lesson and then given a test. But in life, you are given a test that teaches you a lesson.
