Another Interlude

I badly miss this blog, to post something here and share it to everyone in this virtual world. I miss drawing and doodling and taking photographs. I miss those activities so bad! Anyway, I don't miss writing 'cos I'm not really into it ;p

However, work load is so pain in the ass. I lately use the phrase pretty often 'cos it's the fact. Not only is the office work, but also my side jobs are really pain in the ass. From writing internal audit report of departments (in my company) that beyond my capacities till translations for a local travel agent. Those really take my time.

But one thing I learn for sure. Every action we take will always bear a consequence. So, be wise... ;)

P.S. I'm watching a movie right now to ease the tension I had the whole week. This action will bear a consequence that imma wake up late tomorrow. lol

Relict Flower

Some people in my country (*or maybe for other countries as well) believe that this is the color of widow. But I don't give a sh*t for that. This was taken at Bogor Botanical Garden when I had a photo hunt with colleagues. Dunno what to say 'cos I'm still pissed of with the FA Cup final result. Damn Manchester City!

I'm Watchin' You!

Been a while didn't post new entry on my blog, for work load and 'side jobs'..LOL. Okay, this picture was just taken when I wanted to transfer my photos from memory card to my laptop. I saw my little 'sweety' (*that's how we call her) cat lazing around the house. I thought it was cute, so I grabbed the camera and took her a picture.

New Feature on Blogger

Wow...When I was going to update my blog, I received a notification from blogger team stated they have implemented a new feature to blogger. This cool feature is called "Dynamic View(s)". Blogger currently offers five dynamic views for its public blogs. These views are only accessible if allowed for by the blog author. They are:

1. Flipcard
2. Mosaic
3. Sidebar
4. Snapshot
5. Timeslide

As an example, the URL for accessing the 'Timeslide' (*which I like the most) view for dream.in.hand would be http://dreamin-hand.blogspot.com/view/timeslide.

Anyway, these views require modern browsers such as Internet Explorer 8+, Firefox 3.5+, Chrome or Safari. Many elements of these views will not work should you have an older browser.

For you, bloggers, who want your blog to be viewed in several new and exciting ways, please make sure all of the following are true:

1. Your blog is public. Your readers don’t need to sign in to view your blog.
2. Your blog has feeds fully enabled. In the Settings | Site feed tab, you have enabled either Full or Jump Break for your Post Feed.
3. You have not disabled dynamic views. In the Setting | Formatting tab, the option for Enable Dynamic Views is set to Yes.

If any of the above conditions are not true, users who attempt to access dynamic views for your blog will instead be taken to a landing page and redirected to your original blog in a few seconds.

If all of the above conditions are true, your readers can access the dynamic views for your blog by simply appending /view to the URL.

Please note that these views do not currently support many of the features your original blog may have, including displaying advertisements. For this reason we have provided the option for you to disable dynamic views in your Settings page. We intend to add these missing capabilities over the coming months as well as let you personalize these views, including providing an option to set a particular view as the default.

Bananas

Trip to Taman Safari

It was all started from a light conversation about recreational places which we have never (or have not) visited, I and a friend finally decided to visit 'Taman Safari' (Eng: Safari Park) Indonesia on Saturday a month ago (been a while, hehehee..).

Anyway, we left at 10 am and alhamdulillah, the weather was pretty nice on that day. It was a little bit late for us to go there, for I got home at 01.00 o'clock at night. Fortunately she could understand it. Only a few hundred meters after the Ciawi exit toll, the traffic went mad. Finally I decided to take a long and extreme 'alternative' path, and arrived at 1.00 pm. The entry ticket was quite cheap, Rp.75.000 (US$8.5) for 1 adult, and Rp.15,000 (US$1.7) for the car.

We were welcomed by some elephants in front of the entrance gate. Followed were goats and other mammals. I managed to take some photographs during my vacation there.

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, known colloquially as the Chinese hibiscus, China rose and shoe flower (Ind: Kembang Sepatu), is an evergreen flowering shrub native to East Asia.

It is widely grown as an ornamental plant throughout the tropics and subtropics. The flowers are large, generally red in the original varieties, and firm, but generally lack any scent. Numerous varieties, cultivars, and hybrids are available, with flower colors ranging from white through yellow and orange to scarlet and shades of pink, with both single and double sets of petals.

Despite their size and red hues attractive to nectar-feeding birds, they are not visited regularly by hummingbirds when grown in the Neotropics. Generalists, like the Sapphire-spangled Emerald, Amazilia lactea, or long-billed species, like the Stripe-breasted Starthroat, Heliomaster squamosus, are occasionally seen to visit it, however.
