Head and Face: Side View
Let's go on to the next tutorial. Now, we are going to draw (still) head and face from a different angle, which is the side view.
1. As usual, draw a circle first. This will help you determine the size of the character's head.
2. What we are going to do now is to shape the character's chin and jaw based on the dotted line as in the picture below.
3. With the dotted guide line, we can determine the position of the nose and the mouth of the character. How is it? I know you can do it.
4. Well, we just add the details of the head such as eyes, mouth, ears, hair, and neck. When you draw the eye, make it about a half of the original size because we see it from the side view.
5. Unlike the first tutorial, now I'm gonna give the details of the character. It's not that difficult, is it? Keep practicing because practice makes perfect.
Good Luck!
